KDE Direct have published their latest upgrades for the Trex 250 and the Compass 7HV.
Vertical Stabilizer Mount for Align Trex 250:
“The new Vertical Stabilizer Mount Upgrade provides a strong connection between the tail boom and tail case for the
250 PRO and E/SE series helicopters. With a precision CNC machined cylindrical pin, the upgrade provides an accurate,
perpendicular installation of the tail components to the main shaft for unparalleled flight performance.”
700 Performance Boom Support Assembly:
“KDE Direct 700 Series Performance Boom Support Assembly, M3 Version encompasses a series of specialized
design features targeted at preventing the problematic loosening and resultant failure (telescoping) of the critical Tail Boom
Support of the 700-class Electric and 90/120-class Nitro helicopters. Due to the caustic and high-frequency vibration
environment of RC helicopters, these upgrades are a necessary enhancement to maintain the structural integrity and
performance of the helicopter tail mechanics and control. The Boom Support Assemblies are produced and assembled
100% in the U.S.A.; including the highest-quality, ultra-strength carbon fiber tubes manufactured in the U.S.A. to yield
high-stiffness and lightweight characteristics.”
In addition, the 500XF-1450 HP Brushless motor is now available!
” the new KDE Direct 500XF-1450 High-Performance Brushless Motor is an extremely efficient and powerful motor for
any 500-class Electronic helicopter, and was designed as a powerhouse for the ALIGN TREX 500 series helicopters. In
collaboration with Castle Creations, the motor is custom designed for KDE Direct and used the latest Computer-Aided
Magnetic Field Analysis software to design the most efficient and optimized design for high-level, 3D-competition flight.
The motor is designed to handle extreme-power setups and has been optimized for governor-control algorithms of the
Castle Creations ESC product line; making this motor the most capable offering in the RC helicopter marketplace. ”
